SIBLINGS TRIPTYCH

The rock face along the shore of Little Sheguaindah Lake (Killarney Provincial Park) is a painter’s and photographer’s ‘happy place’. During a canoe trip with my sons, we climbed the short rock portage out of George Lake into Little Sheguaindah Lake and spent the afternoon exploring this small lake.

These three images were made in recent proximity to each other. It was an exercise in discovering how much of a difference composition makes in the creation of the final image. After endless examination of each of these images, I decided they belonged with each other. Kind of like siblings – the same but different.
