Join us as we travel to Honduras and Nicaragua for ten days to visit three of our kids we sponsor through Compassion Canada.
Our kids were ages three and one when we decided to fly off to Central America. After landing in Tegucigalpa, we drove through Honduras and Nicaragua visiting some of the major cities (Managua, Leon, Tegucigalpa & Gracias) and soaking in as much of the local culture and scenery as possible. Driving in these Central American countries was quite challenging at first, but after ignoring most of my North American training of a regard for traffic laws, I was just fine and started to blend in. The highlights are too numerous to write, but the most rewarding was meeting these three kids, after years of only writing back and forth. Below are a few photographs, a sort of overview of our experiences.
